The Zembro Bracelet is splash and water-resistant, and may be used for shallow-water activities (less than 1 meter) under specific conditions *. However, the Zembro Bracelet shouldn’t be used for diving, water skiing, or other water activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth for lengthy periods of time or in water containing chemicals such as chlorine which may impact the waterproof seal of the device.

Showering with Zembro Bracelet is ok, but the Zembro Bracelet should not be exposed to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, perfumes, and other products containing chemicals as they can negatively affect water seals and acoustic membranes.

The following may affect the water-resistance of your Zembro Bracelet and should be avoided:

Battery – general care & storage

Shallow discharges and recharges are better than full ones, because they put less stress on the battery, so it lasts longer. When your battery is discharging, aim to recharge as soon as the battery level falls to 20 percent. While you’re charging it back up, you should aim to reach 80% capacity.

Do not leave the device plugged in for more than 3 hours. Instead, follow the shallow discharge and recharge cycle. In the long term, electronics will age faster if they’re constantly plugged in while already charged to 100 percent.

Avoid extreme temperatures. Whenever possible, you should avoid leaving your Zembro bracelet in hot cars or in chilly rooms. Ideally, store your Zembro bracelet below 25 degrees Celsius / Humidity under 50%.

As another precaution, you should also make sure you’re using the official charger that came bundled with your Zembro bracelet. This will guarantee that the charger is safe to use with your device’s battery, and optimized to charge it as efficiently as possible. The official charger will apply the best practices for your battery’s general health.

If you’re not going to be using your Zembro bracelet for an extended period of time, then turn it completely off, and don’t forget to recharge the battery every 2 to 3 months (to prevent the battery from running dry over a long period of inactivity). Ideally, leave your gadget with a charge somewhere around 40-50 percent. Don’t forget to switch your device completely off while you store it, and avoid extreme hot and cold conditions.
